Leading Christian botanist Sir Ghillean Prance wrote this pamphlet on how he undersands care of the environment as a follower of Jesus. He takes joy in discoveries of the diversity of life on earth and the importance of his work caring for creation. He laments the extinction of species and that Christians, and especially churches, are not doing more. This is a short introduction to creation care from a key scientist who takes seriously God’s calling on his life to care for the environment. It is also part of a series of introductions on a range of scientific themes from Christians in Science.
