The Rev. Dr. John Polkinghorne was and remains a preeminent voice in faith and science. A mathematical physicist at Cambridge who then became an Anglican priest, he was a prolific writer with 36 published books to his name, 26 of which concern science and religion. We would recommend Belief in God in an Age of Science or The Polkinghorne Reader as good places to start.
